I Really hope I'm not one of the old ladies with the the only thing to keep her company is her "stories" on tv. The last 8 lines really stuck to me. There are so many things in this life that are terrible, that we want to ignore but there are also things that are beatiful that we should cherish. However more often than not, we don't and when we're old grey and dying alone we realize all the things we should have done differently. It's very sad.
