visiting family
is always a pain
especially in the case
they have a different last name
and they go out of their way
to make you feel strange
ask if you were gay
before you became straight
and through snot and slobber
your girlfriends brothers daughter
asks what happened to the other
boyfriend cuz he was hotter
I'm not lying
it gets more maligned
when we take the family canine
despite the kids crying
calling me the antichrist
as the dog whines and bites
just because mom and dad
don't like the dog in their life
it was quite a weekend
candy couldn't have sweetened
it took angels keepin'
me from going off the deep end
Note: My weekend wasn't that bad, but everything I wrote about did happen!
