Somedays when you awake
don't you get the urge to take
a shank to the trache
and then the vertebrae
let spray cells and brains
into an open space
just to entertain
oneself on the subway train
or on a plane
to another state
wouldn't it be great
to stab with a steak
knife or slice some guy
in his thigh and side
and through his eye
pull out his insides
try to tame your rage
but if it escapes the cage
join the ranks of crazed
Canadian dudes
who decapitate dudes
cut their heads loose
taunt cops and the news
dude. it could happen to you
