This fine day in America
our forefather Mr. Jefferstud
signed some legal stuff
for justice and freedom and stuff
so for his sake
and in independences name
take thine fuego flame
and set ablaze color grenades
watch amazed by bright
lights tainting the night
painting in flight
like exploding kites
right beside a cutie pie
eyes filled by delight
electrified skies
inspiring the mind
past midnight we marveled
our attention borrowed
I'm startled as a nearby
roman candle sparkles
off into the distance
this array of prism pistons
and oh ya did I mention
